Position Title: Adjunct - Physics Department: Physics Division: Mathematics &amp; Sciences (MAS) Employee Status: Adjunct (Fall, Spring, and or Summer Semesters) Group: NA Grade: Adjunct FLSA: Non-Exempt ICCB Classification: Teaching Faculty ______________________________________________________&nbsp; Reporting Relationships Reports to: Dean of Mathematics &amp; Sciences Supervision Exercised: None&nbsp; Job Summary Teach assigned classes and perform activities related to classroom instruction.&nbsp; Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Additional related duties may be assigned.&nbsp; 1. Teach lecture and lab components of various level Physics courses.&nbsp; 2. Utilize Rock Valley College’s chosen Learning Management System (LMS) for all grading, assignments, communication and student records.&nbsp; 3. Plan course content and assign appropriate course work.&nbsp; 4. Select appropriate texts and teaching materials.&nbsp; 5. Meet classes at assigned times.&nbsp; 6. Instruct students in the proper use of lab equipment where appropriate.&nbsp; 7. See that equipment and/or labs are properly maintained where appropriate.&nbsp; 8. Maintain supply and equipment inventory where appropriate.&nbsp; 9. Participate in assessment of student learning.&nbsp; 10. Maintain student records, evaluate student progress, and assign grades.&nbsp; 11. Prepare course/class reports as required.&nbsp; 12. Attend required meetings (faculty, division, in-service training, etc.).&nbsp; 13. Keep informed on the latest research and journal articles.&nbsp; 14. Physics Adjunct Faculty

Position Title: Music Adjunct Faculty&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Position Type: Adjunct/Adjunct Faculty&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Location: Main Campus or Online Department: Music To save time applying, Rock Valley College does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas for this position at this time.&nbsp; Reporting Relationships/Reports to: Dean of Arts and Social Sciences Supervision Exercised: None&nbsp; <h4>Job Description: Course work and post-secondary teaching experience in the following areas: Fundamentals of Music, Music Literature, American Music, Non-Western Music, Class Piano, Chorus, Instrumental Ensemble, Band, Music Theory and/or Orchestra</h4>General Duties: Create class syllabus and plan course content under the direction of the Dean and Academic Chair.
