Through this complete marketing solution, we can help advertisers get laser-focused on who our mutual customers are, what they want, and how we can meet their needs.How will you make an impact in this role?The Senior Manager, Oversight and Excellence is part of the Amex Offers Global Operations Center of Excellence within Amex Offers Digital Media.&nbsp; This individual will report directly to the Director of Amex Offers Global Operations and Oversight and be responsible for implementing effective operational risk management programs and internal program reviews.This individual will play a key role in scaling and ensuring complaint growth of advertising products. This is a high visibility opportunity that includes working with cross functional stakeholders across the enterprise including several senior leaders. The successful candidate will strengthen Amex Offers Digital Media risk framework and ensure that governance structures, policies, and procedures are robust, effective, and align with internal policies (e.g. AEMP 88, AEMP 54) and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead compliant growth for advertising/digital media products across AEMP 54, risk assessments and control development</li><li>Manage project and communication plans to keep relevant stakeholders at different levels informed, receive inputs and remove roadblocks as relevant </li><li>Develop business monitoring and testing procedures for customer-facing colleagues to meet customer-facing interaction (CFI) minimum standards</li><li>Stay abreast of internal policy and regulatory changes and industry best practices; evaluate and integrate changes into AODM procedures &amp; trainings for AODM Colleagues</li><li>Regularly evaluate the Amex Offers Digital Media governance framework’s effectiveness including leading process enhancement workstreams</li><li>Create material for periodic updates and presentations to senior stakeholders as well as reporting packages</li><li>Be a thought leader with a proactive mindset – align stakeholders, assess risks and escalate or devise mitigation strategies, think through interdependencies, etc.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5-10+ years of experience in project management and/or operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understands critical operational risk management lifecycle activities</li><li>Experience developing or enforcing procedures for Customer-facing Colleagues including sales conduct and business monitoring procedures </li><li>Knowledge of advertising, product, tech capabilities a plus</li><li>Project management skills and experience working on large enterprise projects / programs</li><li>Strong relationship building skills and ability to effectively collaborate and work with stakeholders across groups, geographies and with varying backgrounds</li><li>Experience driving transformational change across the enterprise</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and clearly communicate and visualize insights </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to operate independently in a highly complex matrixed environment</li></ul>Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. WHAT YOU’LL DO:<ul><li>Provide project management support for end to end media planning process, including strategy development and tactical execution.</li><li>Own compilation and maintenance of ad hoc and recurring performance reporting deliverables.</li><li>Partner with external media agency to implement plan recommendations and optimizations and ensure deliverables are optimally executed.</li><li>Own Paid budget and reconciliation; process invoices and drive ongoing efficiencies in billing process</li><li>Manage creative asset tracker for media partners and recommend creative optimizations based on in-market performance</li><li>Manage audience creation process and approvals, recommending audience pool refinements in partnership with leadership.</li><li>Evaluate new media opportunities regularly, maintaining a backlog of potential activations, and recommending tests as business needs evolve.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 2-3 years industry relevant digital marketing or digital agency experience</li><li>Strong understanding of Paid Media tactics and performance metrics; familiar with implementing campaigns across ATL and BTL channels (i.e., Social, Display, Search, Connected TV, Online Video, Digital Out of Home, etc.)</li><li>Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to assess campaign performance; experience with using Adobe Analytics, Google analytics for reporting and insights</li><li>Foundational knowledge of testing experimentation to optimize audience and creative performance</li><li>Experience with managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-effective ad spend</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with internal &amp; external partners to implement media campaigns and convey insights and performance metrics to partners</li><li>Ability to stay organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail</li><li>Team player with willingness to support projects beyond immediate scope</li><li>Willing to take risks and share fresh perspectives</li><li>Passion for restaurants and the hospitality industry</li></ul>Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
