SBPO team is looking for a Sr. Associate to manage the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities across a diverse portfolio of productsPurpose of the role Senior Associate would have to support/lead all RCSA related associated with Small Business Products Operations, while working across operational areas such as Product, Operational Excellence, and front &amp; back-office servicing as part of our effort to build, launch and run this new line of business. Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide strategic risk advice to business process owners when process changes are triggered, or new regulations apply</li><li>Actively be involved in change management initiatives to ensure adequate assessment of risks and compliance with existing policies &amp; regulations</li><li>Compile best practices and learnings from historical processes changes and product launches and leverage to support risk identification</li><li>Implement robust risk identification and mitigation strategies to effectively manage emerging risk themes</li><li>Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation through thematic analysis and collaboration with business units, ensuring early detection of emerging risks</li><li>Facilitate risk awareness and education within business teams to enhance their ability to manage risks effectively</li><li>Ensure control management &amp; RAU along with Process owners are aware of the control mapping and linkages</li><li>Track activities across Operational Risk Management's policy requirements</li><li>Ensure completeness and accuracy of Process grouping within RAU</li><li>Monitoring and reporting of RAU results and data points</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications &amp; Eligibility<ul><li>More than 3 years of experience with PRSA / RCSA activities combined with experience in Project Management &amp; Risk Management with decision-making skills, prioritization skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional, large/complex initiatives that may have a commercial impact</li><li>Drive results and be a team player with a strong collaborative orientation</li><li>Experience working across/with product, risk and compliance functions and have a knowledgeable understanding of the various risks and regulatory obligations of American Express</li><li>Must be highly organized and professional individual with an ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness and efficiency</li><li>Excellent project management experience, organization, and prioritization skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional, large/complex initiatives</li><li>Experience working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, developing relationships across organizational boundaries and influencing without direct authority</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to communicate effectively</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with use of Excel and PowerPoint</li></ul>Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
